Colonies setup before December 31, 2013 to be regularized

Jaipur: Colonies settled on government and acquired land before December 31, 2013 will be regularized in Prashasan Shahron ke Sang campaign. Orders will be issued by UDH & LSG soon.

Documents of purchase of plot, electricity or water bills etc. will have to be submitted by the plot holder to get the plot regularized. The regulation of plots up to 300 sqm will be done at the local body level and for plots larger than this, the approval of the state government will be necessary.

Regulation will be done only if there is construction on at least half the plot. If the construction is less than 50 percent, permission of the state government will be required. Lands coming under the ceiling act, whose decision has been done by courts & appeal is not pending in court, will be regularized.

Decisions in this regard were taken at the level of UDH minister Shanti Dhariwal. In such colonies, facility area will be 40% & width of internal roads will be at 30 ft.

Construction made on facility areas & roads will not be regularized. Colonies with roads smaller than 30 feet will also be regularized and for this, the local body will conduct a survey of the colony. Camps will be held under 2nd phase. Densely populated colonies, where construction is on 60% plots, will be regularized.
