CM Gehlot: The second wave of Covid-19 is becoming fatal and people need to be more cautious
Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said in a recently held review meeting at CMR that the state government will do their best in protecting the people against the Covid-19 second wave. CM asked the people of the state to conduct a restrained behaviour, similar to the lockdown.
In the meeting, the medical experts suggested that putting restrictions on socio-religious and cultural activities, extending the curfew time, limiting the people present in ceremonies and marriages, and imposing strict lockdowns might help reduce infection in the state.
In view of these suggestions, CM gave instructions to Principal Secretary, Home, Abhay Kumar to prepare guidelines.
Gehlot has instructed to leave no stone unturned in expanding medical facilities. He said that dedicated Covid care hospitals, day-care centres, post-Covid care centres, oxygen and ICU beds, and other medical facilities including medicines should be increased.
