2 accused appear before court; sent to police remand

Udaipur: Kingpin Bhupendra Saran was produced in the court in the paper leak case in Rajasthan. The court has sent Saran on police remand for nine days. Rajeev Upadhyay, who was brought on a production warrant from Jaipur, also appeared in the court. The court sent Rajeev Upadhyay on PC remand for 4 days.

Saran had given information about Upadhyay during an interrogation. Earlier, the court had sent Saran on police remand till February 27, for which the term expired on Monday. Saran was arrested by the SOG (Special Operations Group) from Bengaluru, after which the investigating agencies are continuously interrogating him.
