Mango, the king of fruits, appears once a year during summers. It is consumed in different forms both ripe and unripe. Ripe sweet mangoes are either consumed as it is or mango desserts are made with them. Unripe mangoes are used to make different forms of pickles in many homes. They are also utilised to make recipes such as chutney and beverages. Multiple varieties of Indian mangoes such as kesar, badami, dasheri, langda, safeda, totapuri, chausa, neelam and alphonso, etc are available in the markets. Here are 10 easy ways to make summers scrumptious.

MANGO SMOOTHIE It is a smooth drink made with a mix of mango, milk, yoghurt, ice and a little bit of honey. It is mixed till it gets smooth and frothy. The whole process is very simple and takes five minutes.

MANGO CHIA PUDDING Mango can be utilised as a healthy and quick breakfast option. Put mango, chia seeds, milk and maple syrup in a jar and let it refrigerate overnight. Chopped mangoes can be added to it the next morning.

EGGLESS MANGO MOUSSE This dessert requires mango puree and cream which can be put in layers in a glass. It is then refrigerated for around six hours. The dessert is ready to be consumed.

MANGO ICED TEA Take some black or green tea bags, water, mango, sugar and some ice cubes. Blend mango pieces and water and place the mixture with sugar over medium heat for a minute. Prepare black tea separately and mix them after they get cooled.

MANGO SALAD DRESSING It is a treat meant for healthconscious people because it is a gluten-free salad dressing. It requires the mixing of mangoes cubes, orange juice, cilantro, garlic, chilli flakes, honey, salt and extra virgin olive oil.

MANGO AVOCADO TOAST Mashed avocado is put on oiled toast with mango slices to make this tasty treat. Lemon juice or chilli powder can be used to enhance the flavours.

MANGO SPINACH SMOOTHIE Kale leaves, banana, kiwi, spinach, orange juice, dragon fruit, hemp seeds, chia seeds, barley grass juice powder, Hawaiian Spirulina and basil are required to prepare this smoothie. It is a tasty alternative to monotonous recipes made with green veggies.

MANGO GRAHAM PARFAIT A simple and easy to make recipe which requires some crushed graham, mango chunks, cream and condensed milk. Everything is mixed which hardly takes five minutes.

MANGO CHEESECAKE PARFAIT This lip-smacking delicacy requires 15 minutes of preparation time. Assorted chocolate cookies, mango, cream cheese, condensed milk, whipping cream and sugar are needed to make this yummy dessert.

THAI MANGO SALAD It is just like any other normal salad. It requires chopped mango, bell pepper, carrot, bean sprouts, red chilli, onion, basil, mint, lime juice, lime zest, fish sauce, low sodium tamari, sriracha, sesame oil, honey and crushed peanuts.
