Asia’s most loved and India’s favourite fashion designer, Anju Modi, showcased her scintillating couture collection ‘Gul Bahaar’ at Fashion Connect- Season 14. While describing her beautiful collection, the designer said, “My new couture collection, ‘Gul Bahaar’ is inspired by the cyclic nature of life. It is a beautiful curation of elegant ensembles that are built upon the strong foundations of traditional Indian craftsmanship and yet prove their relevance in the modern world. The collection represents the beauty of metamorphosis in nature that occurs with seasonal shifts. I believe these changes also add sparks of creativity to our lives and we’ve tried to display those emotions artistically through our outfits. I am glad to showcase my collection at Fashion Connect in Dubai.” Her work takes a more conscious, progressive & interactive approach with her love for textiles and the Indian craft serving as the main catalyst and foundation of her designing philosophy whilst continuing to push boundaries for a unique experience. The 32-year-old label’s guiding principles are Timeless, Vintage & Handicraft with a deep influence from the founder’s passion for textiles and Indian craftsmanship .
