FEEL BEFORE YOU HEAL

In a unique event of its kind, doctors and other healthcare staff of the Sawai Man Singh Medical College turned showstoppers of the fashion show by donning traditional and Indowestern attires. The glitterati occasion witnessed a magical response. The doctors were appreciated for their relentless services during the unprecedented peak phases of the coronavirus pandemic.

Taking a break from their medical profession, the members of SMS Medical College celebrated the Platinum Jubilee with utmost grace. The main event of the day was a fashion show which saw the participation of over 100 doctors. Doctors-turned-models walked the ramp with elegance and full confidence. They looked ravishing in trendy designer outfits. Several senior doctors also graced the occasion including Dr Saurabh Jain, Dr Rimmi Shekhawat, Ekta Ajmani, Parth Ajmani, srMamta Dhaka and Dr Vijaylaxmi Nangliya with others.

Principal Dr Rajeev Bagarhatta and Organising Secretary Dr Ashok Gupta informed that the grand finale of the cultural fest will be held on March 4. The stage was operated by Dr Ramesh Roop Rai.

Cultural Fest coordinator Dr Sandeep Nijhawan said that before the fashion show, a musical night was organised in which Dr Gaurav Jain, Dr Sanjay Raizada and Dr Pooja Rathore were present as the jury members.

Dr Rajesh Arora said, “We doctors have to learn to dress up in a few minutes as we face many emergency cases. Therefore, we must be updated with the latest fashion trends. The fashion show was very interesting and we all enjoyed it a lot. The day was a memorable one for the entire fraternity.”

Dr Saurabh Jain told that 100 doctors walked the ramp in the fashion show. The doctors walked the ramp wearing outfits from fashion designer Ekta N Parth’s Kafra, Aashna Vaswani’s Fashionolic, Pranay’s Nikhar Fashion and Mayur Mohan’s Mohanlal & Sons range. During this, male doctors wore Sherwani, Tuxedo and Jodhpuri outfits, while the female doctors walked the ramp in traditional outfits, and flaunted gota patti, zari, and patola print saree.
