Make proper planning of land bank, remove squatters: JDC Jain

Jaipur: With a focus to increase revenue, Jaipur Development Authority Commissioner Ravi Jain instructed officers to make proper planning of land bank. Jain took a meeting regarding the land bank, which is of 58,000 hectares, and gave instructions for the planning of lands.

He said that after removing the encroachment on the land, trespassers do the encroachment again and planning should be done immediately after taking possession of the land by removing the encroachments.

He asked the officers to seize the resources used for encroachment. The land bank comprises 89,443 khasras in 247 villages in the JDA region.

The Jaipur Development Authority asked the officers to create categories of land for proper planning. The first category will have the land where schemes have been created while the second category will have vacant lands. He also instructed zone commissioners to do superimposing of khasras. The Jaipur Development Authority will also check the status of Mandir mafi lands, which are encroached by people.
