Fear of losing weakens pupil, so don't be afraid of failure: V-P

Jhunjhunu/Jaipur: Citing example of failure of Chandrayaan-2 when Jagdeep Dhankhar was WB Governor, he said the landing wasn’t perfect then but PM congratulated ISRO for 96% success in mission. V-P Jagdeep Dhankhar was addressing students at an event at Sainik School in Jhunjhunu district.

“Never be afraid of failures. Fear of failure reduces your strength quite a lot. Never be tense. You will be able to perform much better. At Sainik School, I always would top in the class. But I was always in fear of what would happen if I couldn’t come first? I left the school as topper. “Later, I realised it doesn’t matter much whether you are on top or 2nd position. So develop your personality in an integrated manner,” he said. The V-P invited students to visit Delhi to learn about Parl’s functioning.

At an event in NIA, he appealed to adopt ancient medical methods like Ayurveda. Dr Munjpara Mahendra Bhai, MoS for AYUSH, Vaidya Rajesh Kutecha, Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH, and Professor Sanjeev Sharma, V-C, NIA were also present.
