CS seeks action plan to curb noise pollution

Jaipur: Chief secretary Usha Sharma on Friday directed the transport department, Municipal Corporation and Pollution Control Board to make an effective action plan about how to control noise pollution. She said that the general public should be made aware about the harm caused by noise pollution and at the same time, strict adherence to the rules should also be ensured.

Sharma was addressing a meeting regarding the efforts being made to reduce noise pollution in various cities of the state and the future action plan for it. In another meeting, the chief secretary reviewed the execution of budget announcements related to the health department. Sharma said that the work of selection and allotment of land for medical and health infrastructure schemes should be completed at the earliest so that the maximum number of people can be benefited.
