RCA in acute financial crisis, only Rs 2 lakh left in account

Jaipur: Rajasthan Cricket Association’s treasury has only about Rs 2 lakh left in its account. The RCA has stopped receiving money from the BCCI and has liabilities of around Rs 40 crore.

Players have not got DA and employees have not got their salaries. Fees of IPL players are pending. The ad hoc committee has also failed to get money from the BCCI but is making claims of organizing the tournament. It has claimed to organize a summer camp from May 1. There is also a claim of giving Rs 40k to each district association for camp. Meanwhile, hotel owners have been demanding money from RCA for last season’s tournament.
