Jaipur: Claiming to provide better medical services, a super specialty wing was started in SMS Medical College, but the administration forgot the biggest need of “blood” for the serious patients admitted here. There was no planning of Blood Bank in the wing built at a cost of Rs 200 crore. As a result, more than 400 patients wander from here to there for blood daily. It has however benefited the “brokers” of blood.

The doctors of all 3 super specialties operating here also believe that patients are facing problems, but they also seem helpless in front of the system. Patients of gastrology, urology, & nephrology come to hospital.
