Jaipur: Several decisions were taken in interests of employees in the 187th meeting of the Board of Directors of RTDC under the chairmanship of Chairman Dharmendra Rathore.
The long-standing demand of 7th Pay Commission for the employees was accepted. At the same time, the proposal to give benefit of RGHS scheme and to operate Palace on Wheels with private participation was also passed.
A resolution was also passed regarding receipt of term loan of Rs 1000 crore to Tourism Development Fund announced by CM in budget. A resolution on Palace on Wheels with private participation on operation & management model was also passed.
In order to increase non-operational income of the Tourism Corporation, a proposal was also passed to operate about 40 liquor shops from Excise Department at major tourist places of state.
Principal Secretary Gayatri Rathore, General Administration Secretary JK Upadhyay & Joint Secretary, Finance Mevaram Jat were present.
