6.62 crore tourists visit State in first six months of 2023

Jaipur: Rajasthan tourism seems to have got wings. In the first six months of 2023, the arrival of more than 6.62 crore tourists in the state is proving that this time all the previous records are going to be shattered. The new tourism season has also started from Friday, in such a situation it is believed that this year the number of tourists coming to the state will cross the magical figure of 14 crores for the first time.

In 2022, a record 10.87 crore tourists reached Rajasthan. Generally, the four months from May to August in Rajasthan are considered off-season in terms of tourism. But this time this myth has also been broken.

Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh said that the department has explored new tourist sites, prepared a complete calendar of events and programs will be organized in a planned manner. Principal Secretary Gayatri Rathore says that the roadshow will be beneficial for the products of Rajasthan tourism in the country and abroad.
