Women block State highway over water demand in Tonk

Tonk: The anger of women erupted for water in Khedli village of Nagarfort police station area of Tonk. Women took to the streets on Monday morning over the shortage of drinking water. The women blocked the State Highway 34A passing through Khedli by placing bushes and water vessels etc. Police along with Uniara DSP, Nagarfort Tehsildar, police station in-charge etc. reached the spot. During this time, officials of Bisalpur Drinking Water Project also reached the spot and heard the problems of the agitators.
