1st remote evidence recording facility

Jaipur: Due to joint efforts by CS office, housing (planning) & Depts of law, personnel, information technology & telecommunication, and after permission by HC, a remote point for recording evidence through VC was set up on administrative secretariat premises. Under the remote point, for the first time, Chief Secretary Usha Sharma got the evidence recorded from the Secretariat premises in an ongoing case in the court located in Ajmer. Through this facility, all the officers posted in the Secretariat, through the video-conference, can be present for evidence in all the courts of law across the state.
