Survey shows abysmal situation of Delhi's schools, but Kejriwal is still patting his back!

New Delhi: The Delhi government is playing its model of education all over the country. Even the ‘New York Times’ had an article on Delhi’s schools and education model. But a new report has come about the education being given in Delhi schools, which shows that the model of education is laggy. The Foundational Learning Survey (FLS) was conducted in schools across the country by the Ministry of Education, Government of India and the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), in which it was found that more than half of the students of Class III of Delhi do not have a general understanding of marks.

This survey was conducted among about three thousand students in 515 schools in the national capital Delhi. In this sense, the sample size is quite large. The result of this survey is that more than half of the students have no or very limited understanding of marks. After this survey, a ranking of schools across the country has been made, in which the ranking of schools in Delhi is third from last and below it are only two states. It is true that the learning process of children has been affected during the corona virus pandemic as most of the children could not study online. Despite this, the condition of most states of the country has been better than the schools in Delhi. Therefore, instead of writing a letter to the Prime Minister about the condition of the state government, there is a need to focus on the schools and teachers of our state.
