Stage set for final showdown for 13 LS seats of Phase-2

Jaipur: The election campaigning in the remaining 13 seats of Rajasthan came to an end on Wednesday. These seats will go for the vote on Friday. This phase covers some of the high profile seats of the State. In Jodhpur parliamentary constituency, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is set to enter the electoral battleground for the third consecutive time. Among the 15 candidates vying for the Jodhpur seat, including six independents, the competition is fierce.

Similarly, in Kota-Bundi, LS Speaker Om Birla is poised for his third electoral contest. Facing off against nine other candidates, including independents, Birla aims to secure victory once again.

Chittorgarh sees the state BJP chief CP Joshi stepping into the fray. With a resounding victory in 2019, garnering 5,76,000 votes, Joshi remains a formidable candidate in the region.
