SMS hosp to start live liver transplant procedures soon

Jaipur: SMS hospital is preparing to enhance its lifesaving capabilities by introducing live liver transplants. So far, the hospital has successfully performed 12 cadaver liver transplants, prompting the administration to plan for live donor procedures. This announcement was made by Dr. Deepak Maheshwari, Principal of SMS Medical College. Recently, a successful transplant for a 37-yr-old patient suffering from liver failure was done. The surgery, conducted by Dr. Dinesh Bharti and his team, was part of a coordinated effort involving multiple professionals.
