Sikkim-cadre officer Aunjaneye Singh empanelled by Centre

Lucknow: Aunjaneye Kumar Singh, SIkkim cadre IAS, currently on inter-state deputation to Uttar Pradesh and serving as Commissioner Moradabad, has been empanelled by the Centre. Seventeen IAS officers of 2005 batch from across the country have been selected to the rank of Joint Secretary, however, no UP cader officer is included in this list. Only Aunjaneye Kumar of Sikkim carder, has been selected for empanelled.

Singh came to UP cardre on deputation in 2015. Keeping in view his performance, the state government approved his plea to increase his deputation period and after being accorded a promotion to the Secretary rank, on March 2, 2021, he was apponted as Commissioner of Muradabad. In the case of Aunjaneye Kumar Singh, who has been on deputation in UP for the last 8 years, the Union Ministry of Personnel and Pension has issued an order and now he will remain in the state till February 14, 2023.
