PCB seizes 4 machines to protect Chandlai Lake
Jaipur: The Pollution Control Board has taken decisive measures to protect Chandlai Lake in Jaipur. Following news broadcasted by First India, the board chairman Shikhar Agrawal directed officials to initiate action against dyeing and printing units responsible for contaminating the lake.
Taking swift action, the board seized four machines and the electricity supply was cut off after closure notices were issued yesterday.
The Board had previously issued warnings to the offending units, including MS Dyers, Lakshmi Prints and Shriram Finishing Centre.
Following the recent developments, the board has ordered these units to undertake necessary remediation efforts to improve the situation.
