Kanishka Soni directly accuses Sajid Khan of sexual misconduct amid backlash around his Bigg Boss participation

Mumbai (Maharashtra): This year’s Bigg Boss is laden with controversy and fans cannot seem to calm down about it. One of the most controversial issues of the show is the participation of filmmaker Sajid Khan who was accused of sexual harassment by several women during the #MeToo wave. Now, actor Kanishka Soni who has done some notable work on television and in films, also came out to raise her voice against Sajid Khan. She revealed a detailed description of their encounter and stated that the filmmaker asked her to show him her stomach.

Taking to her Instagram, Kanishka posted a video where she said Khan invited her to his Juhu house in 2008 on the pretext of offering her work. When she showed hesitance to meet at home, he stated that he lives with his mother so there is no need to worry. However, when she reached there, the filmmaker coerced her to show him her stomach.

Along with the video, she posted a long message in her captions detailing her fear. She wrote, “I am extremely scared of revealing the name of a person about whom I spoke in my interviews last month that he called me up at his home & asked me to raise my Top & show stomach for giving me role into his movie in 2008 but now since he is into big boss & on demand from many film fraternity friends I am telling the entire story, experience & exactly what happened.”

She stated that she is afraid that these big personalities would kill her and has no trust left in the Indian government. Kanishka further questioned Salman Khan’s decision to back Sajid Khan as a contestant. She wrote, “My question is for @beingsalmankhan ji who is my fav & everyone’s, how come he doesn’t look at the characters big boss choose before selecting anyone for big boss ? Please watch the whole video it’s long but whatever I could speak by heart I am sharing with the whole world 🙏 after this I never want to come back to INDIA , I am scared but not WEAK .. I am POWERFUL, POSITIVE & ENERGIZED for the new beginning of my career in HOLLYWOOD 😇🙌🙏.”

Kanishka Soni was recently in the news for marrying herself. She has worked in serials such as Do Dil Ek Jaan, Pavitra Rishta, Diya Aur Baati Hum and Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev. She began her career after appearing in the reality show, Bathroom Singer and then was a guest contestant in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 2. She featured in the Tamil film Pathaveram Kodi in 2013, and went on to do films like Devaraya and Yuvraja.
