First India Filmy: An interview that turned into a TedTalk, the cast of ‘Mere Desh Ki Dharti’ get candid about haters and failures

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Mere Desh ki Dharti is an upcoming Hindi language drama film that stars Divyendu, Anupriya Goenka, Inaamulhaq and Anant Vidhaat in pivotal roles. Talking about their movie, the four cast members met Ashish Tiwari from First India Filmy and got candid about their experience as an actor, what they think about haters and how they deal with failures among others.

Talking about the film, Divyendu spoke about how he could not make a connection with rural India and this film came as an opportunity for the actor to do that. “The small details in looking at different farms and checking out the tiny houses of farmers like the ones we saw in films, to see them work in the fields; seeing all of this, in reality, was a great experience.”

“Acting has been the most difficult and satisfying aspect of my life. The highs and lows of acting are huge. When you deliver a good scene, it satisfies you. But when you are lonely, your acting career challenges you mentally a lot”, Anupriya quoted while talking about her struggles as an actor.

Inaamulhaq had very thoughtful words to say about his failures and about the people who did not believe in him. “People laughed at me when 10 years ago I told them I’ll be big in Bollywood and there will be hoardings of my movie. But now, that dream has turned into reality”, he said.

Anant Vidhaat may have begun his career only a few years back. But his thought process and positivity looked like they came from years of experience. “Results do make you sad sometimes. But instead of dwelling on that, if you think about your goal, you will be able to go ahead in life. Do not struggle for the hope of a bright future. Struggle for your goal and hope will come along”, the newcomer said about dealing with failures in life.

In an interview that turned into a beautiful discussion about life and failures, Divyendu, Anupriya, Inaamulhaq and Anant poured their hearts out.

Mere Desh Ki Dharti is directed by Faraz Haider and will release on May 6, 2022.
