Dalits protest at Bharatpur Collectorate, demand arrest of stone pelting accused

Bharatpur: A dispute between two communities, followed by a stonepelting incident during the procession of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar in Seh village of Kumher took a new turn on Tuesday. People from Dalit community started visiting Bharatpur with their families & belongings.

The people of Dalit society alleged that they were being harassed. They protested front of Collectorate & raised slogans against the administration, demanded apt action against guilty, only then the dharna will be called off.

After this, District Collector Alok Ranjan & SP Shyam Singh reached the protest site and assured the people of fair action in the matter and the arrest of the culprits.
