Girls outshine boys in RBSE Class XIIth results; Barmer girl scores 499 of 500

Jaipur/Ajmer: The results of Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education 12th Arts, Science and Commerce were released on Monday. The result of science stream was 97.73 percent while the result of arts and commerce streams was 96.88 percent and 98.95 percent respectively.

Taruna Choudhary, a resident of Barmer, got a total of 499 marks out of 500. She secured 100 out of 100 marks in all the subjects Hindi, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. In English, she scored 99 marks out of 100. Taruna's father Vishnu Bhagwan Choudhary is a lawyer by profession. Board Administrator and Divisional Commissioner Mahesh Chandra Sharma released the results on Monday afternon.

Secretary Kailash Chandra Sharma said that 8,66, 270 students were registered for the examinations. At the same time, 3671 students were registered in Senior Upadhyaya. Last year the commerce result was 96.60 percent, science result was 95.65 percent and arts result was 92.32 percent.
