RMSCL bans 8 companies from supplying medicines

Jaipur: Rajasthan Medical Services Corporation Limited has banned eight companies from supplying 10 different medicines after their samples failed the standard test. Managing Director of RMSCL, Neha Giri said that Agron Remedies Cough Syrup and Chloramphenicol Eye Drop 0.5 % , Hydrocortisone Sodium Injection to Alliance Biotech, Artesunate Injection to ANG Life Sciences, Linus Life Care Co Dorzolamide Eye Drop 2 % , Maxwell Life Sciences has been banned for a certain period after samples of Salbutamol syrup were found to be sub-standard.

Giri said that Domperidone Suspension to Medipol Pharmaceutical, Samchem is supplied with Iron and Folic Acid Syrup and Liquid Paraffin and Scott Edil has been banned for supplying medicines after samples of Itraconazole capsules did not pass the drug test. Giri, however, said that the management of purchase and supply of medicines under the Chief Minister Free Medicine Scheme is being strengthened with special focus on the quality of medicines.
