Congress criticises BJP’s failures

Jaipur: Raj Congress president Govind Dotasra launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led govt, highlighting its numerous failures across various sectors. Dotasra accused the government of failing to address the paper leak issue, stating, “The govt claims to have stopped paper leaks, but the reality is that they have not even conducted any exams.

” On ERCP issue, Dotasra claimed the govt merely changed the name but failed to declare it as a national project. At a press conference, he slammed the govt’s handling of the Yamuna water issue, saying that the govt congratulated itself for solving the Yamuna water problem, but there has been no tangible solution. Dotasra took aim at PM Modi’s statements about Narmada water reaching Churu and Hanumangarh. He also recalled how Dilawar had previously written to him (when Dotasra was education minister) demanding English medium schools.

“Now, Dilawar wants to shut down these schools,” he said. Tikaram Jully also condemned Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s comment on BR Ambedkar, saying the remark reveals what he thinks about country’s first law minister and Dalit icon. “The recent remarks made by Home Min are highly condemnable, reflecting his mindset,” Jully said. He challenged Shah to speak on situation in Manipur, which is in a grip of ethnic violence since last year, and not on Ambedkar. “The minister’s statement should have been focused on Manipur, but instead, it veered off to irrelevant matters. The country is grappling with pressing issues, such as poor law and order,” he said.
