Cong has given 6 Brahmin CMs to Uttar Pradesh:Tiwari
LUCKNOW: Ahead of the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, ‘Brahmin’ has become the center of politics. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has started wooing Brahmins by organizing Prabudh Varg Samvad Suraksha Samman seminar programme while Samajwadi Party is getting the idol of Lord Parashuram installed.
At the same time, BJP is also trying to woo Brahmins. Meanwhile, Congress leader Pramod Tiwari has attacked these three parties and accused them of insulting Brahmins.
Pramod Tiwari said that Congress has given respect to Brahmins by giving six Brahmin Chief Ministers in Uttar Pradesh. During interaction with media, the Congress leader said SP, BSP and BJP government came, but never gave respect to Brahmins. These people do not consider a Brahmin worthy, so they never made a Brahmin the Chief Minister in UP.
Tiwari said Congress has given respect to Brahmins by appointing Brahmins in high positions many times from Prime Minister to Chief Minister.
He said that the Brahmin may have gone away from us after getting angry with the Congress for some reason, but whenever someone comes back, he comes to his own house and not to that of opponents.
The Congress leader said that this time in elections, he will see that Brahmins will be with the Congress.
