After starring in Ramayana, Saif Ali Khan shares the epic saga that he actually wants to be a part of

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Saif Ali Khan has proven himself as an actor and created a niche for himself where he showed that he can portray any role. Right from powerful to quirky to scary, Saif knows that he can deliver a power-packed performance. The actor was immensely praised for his role in Vikram Vedha which garnered positive reviews from the critics. Now, the actor will soon be seen donning the role of Raavana in the retelling of the epic saga of Ramayana. In a recent interview, the actor revealed the one saga that he wants to be a part of, and it is not Ramayana.

The Nawab of Pataudi revealed that he wants to work in Mahabharata and even has had a talk with Ajay Devgn which is still going on since 1999 when they both appeared in Kacche Dhaage. He said, “I don’t think like that. I just think of what I am offered. I don’t really have a dream subject. I don’t think there’s any point in thinking like that. But what I would like to do is act in Mahabharata, if someone makes it like Lord of the Rings. We’ve been talking about that with Ajay Devgn since Kachche Dhaage—in our generation, it’s the dream subject. We’ll get the Bombay film industry with the South if that’s possible. Karana is more appealing to me, there are a lot of great characters.”

Before Vikram Vedha, Saif portrayed a period negative character in the film, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. He played the role of Udaybhan Singh and stunned the audience with his absolutely thrilling performance. Now, after playing a grey role in Vikram Vedha, Saif is all set to blow the audience away in Adipurush which also stars Prabhas as Ram and Kriti Sanon as Sita.
