Chaudhary expresses gratitude for OBC quota anomalies

Jaipur: Congress leader Harish Chaudhary on Friday expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasra for removing discrepancies in OBC reservation in the Cabinet meeting. While addressing a press conference at his residence, Harish Chaudhary said that following the matter was deferred in cabinet, the youths became agitated over the issue. “On October 29, the aspirants decided to protest against the government after the OBC reservation matter deferred in the cabinet. On October 30, talks were held with the government. Approvals were received from the government departments, but the matter was deferred in the cabinet meeting. But, now the matter was kept in the cabinet and passed,” said Congress leader Chaudhary. “The advisory issued by the Congress leader KC Venugopal has to be followed and statements being given in the midst of Bharat Jodo Yatra is wrong,” he added.
