3-member body formed to probe MBM univ case

Jodhpur: The reports of both the committees in the case of financial irregularities and sexual harassment of girl students in Jodhpur’s MBM University were presented in the Board of Management meeting on Thursday. In the report, it was recommended to terminate suspended HoD of Architecture Department, Dr Pulkit Gupta.

A 3-member committee has been formed, to take decision regarding this within two months.

The suspension of Gupta has been kept regular till the final report of the High Power Committee is received. Gupta will not be able to teach for five years. Apart from this, his five increments have been stopped.

More than 38 girl students had accused the suspended HoD of sexual harassment.
