Celebs grace the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival Awards 23

Mumbai : The Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival Awards happened in the city last night which is touted to be one of the most prestigious awards which honour talents from every field, language irrespective of the reach. The Awards saw celebrities from Bollywood, TV and South gracing the red carpet. From Alia Bhatt, Rekha to Rishab Shetty, Tejasswi Prakash adding stars and glamour to the red carpet of Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2023.  

The awards concluded with The Kashmir Files winning the Best Film award and Anupam Kher taking the Most Versatile Actor Of The Year award for the film. Alia Bhatt not just received her Best Actress award for Gangubai Kathiawadi but also received husband Ranbir Kapoor's Best Actor award for Brahmastra on his behalf. 

Actor-filmmaker Rishab Shetty was awarded the Most Promising Actor award for his Kannada film Kantara. Varun Dhawan too won the Critics Best Actor award for his film Bhediya. In the television category, Rupali Ganguly-starrer Anupamaa won the Television Series of The Year award at the festival. Veteran actor Rekha was honoured with an award for her ‘Outstanding Contribution In The Film Industry’.

The Dada Saheb Phalke awards recognise and appreciate the best performances of the year across a variety of categories as a way to honour his exemplary contributions.
