RCA to hold Colvin Shield for nurturing talent from May 20

Jaipur: In a good news from the Rajasthan Cricket Association, which is plagued by controversies, its ad hoc committee has decided to start cricket activities in the state. RCA’s oldest and prestigious cricket tournament Colvin Shield will be held from May 20. The committee has issued a circular to all the district associations for the tournament.

Ratan Singh, convenor of the committee, said that summer camps will be organized in all the districts of the state from May 1 to May 15. “These camps will be held in the under-14, under-16 and under-19 age groups for boys and girls. An amount of Rs 40,000 will be given by RCA to each district cricket association for the camp,” he said.
