‘Women’s role vital in building a self-reliant India’

Kota: Lok Sabha Speaker, Om Birla embarked visited Itawa village in Kota- Bundi parliamentary constituency on friday. Upon arrival in Itawa, Speaker Om Birla was greeted by the BJP District President, Prem Gochar, along with Nagar Palika Chairman, Rajni Soni and Rinku Meena.

Birla attended the ‘Tiffin With Didi’ programme & interacted with women of Self-Help Groups. He enjoyed a hearty meal with the women. He expressed his commitment to further empower women in the future.

Birla while interacting with the women, commended their ongoing initiatives. The LS Speaker honoured several women during the event and distributed baby kits.

He appealed to women for their support in re-electing PM Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, emphasising the vital role of women in building a self-reliant and a developed India. He inaugurated development projects worth approximately Rs 28 crore.
