Woman raped, blackmailed by occultist over job offer

Barmer: A 27-year-old woman was raped and blackmailed by a tantrik on the pretext of providing her a job. The victim alleged that the accused had been sexually assaulting her for the past one year and also made obscene videos of her. She further alleged that the accused had threatened her that if she opposed him, he would kill her kids. Incident has been reported from Gudamalani police station area in Barmer.

Police said that on the basis of the victim’s complaint they have lodged the case and initiated investigation. Till the last report, the accused was on the run.
