WILL MAKE RAJ NATION’S LEADING STATE WITH MISSION 2030: CM

Jodhpur: CM Ashok Gehlot inaugurated Jagshanti Auditorium and Lata Ramesh Parekh Skill Development Centre of Marudhara Industries Association at Basni in Jodhpur on Monday. He also unveiled the Entrepreneur ‘Logo.’ Addressing the event, Gehlot said that the State govt is committed to industrial development. “With 11.04 percent GDP growth rate, Rajasthan’s standing of first in North India and second in the country shows our commitment,” the Chief Minister said.

“With the policies of state govt, Raj has progressed in every field, said CM while addressing the inaugural ceremony of Central Modern Bus Stand at Paota in Jodhpur on Monday. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development works worth about Rs 113 crore.

“This bus stand equipped with modern facilities will provide convenience to the passengers and drivers. Public transport is not a means of earning revenue for us, it is a work of public service. On the festival of Raksha Bandhan, women have been given 100 per cent concession in fare. After Jaipur, now a state-of-the-art bus stand has been prepared in Jodhpur and dedicated to the public,” CM said.

Built at a cost of Rs 50.15 crore, the Central Bus Stand will have 12 ticket counters, a tourist information centre, airconditioned waiting lodge, boarding base for 21 buses and lighting base for 6 buses. Along with this, there will be 6 lifts, ATM, post office, police post, dispensary, parcel office, clock room and dry pantry at the bus stand. Apart from this, stores and restaurants will also be available on the first floor of the bus stand.
