We face ‘80s like challenge, but will stand up under Rahul ji’s leadership: Gehlot

Udaipur: Prior to the formal start of the Congress’ ‘Navsankalp Shivir’ in Udaipur, CM Gehlot held a presser where he emphasised on the vision of the party stressing that a new resolution will be taken in the Navsankalp Shivir. “The resolution will be successful in taking the policies and principles of the party to the public so that the atmosphere of brotherhood, non-violence can be ensured again in the country. Today the country is passing through a crisis. Inflation and unemployment are at its peak. An atmosphere of polarization has been created in the country since 2012 and false allegations of appeasement have been levelled on Congress.

Today we are yet again facing the challenge faced in 1980s, but we will stand again under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi,” Gehlot said.

Gehlot further added, “A historic hour has come for Rajasthan. Sonia Gandhi has chosen Rajasthan for the Shivir. Today the situation in athe country is worrying, the Constitution is being broken down. Those who talk of Congress-mukt Bharat will be Mukt soon. PM should come forward and address the country that violence will not be tolerated. There is a big conspiracy behind the recent events of Rajasthan.”
