Nagaur: Uproar was witnessed in the public hearing for environmental approval for Mundwa limestone mine of Ambuja Cement in dist on Friday. Incident happened during a public hearing program on behalf of Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board regarding expansion in limestone production. Nagaur ADM Mohan Lal, SDM Sunil Panwar, Pollution Control Board Regional Officer Sanvita, PCC member and former Deputy Zilla Pramukh Dr Sahdev Choudhary, MLA Narayan Beniwal and residents of Kherwad, Rupasar and Didiya Kanla, Inana Mundwa were present in the public hearing. Due to the strong opposition of Dr Choudhary and the villagers, the Ambuja officials could not give the presentation correctly regarding the expansion in the chosen stone production capacity from 0.5 million ton per annum to 2.0 million ton per annum.
