TIKAIT CALLS FOR BIG FARMERS’ MOVEMENT IN MAHAPANCHAYAT

Bikaner: Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait, who spearheaded the agitation against the NaMoled Central government, has once again called for another big movement across nation for MSP. Tikait said that many in the opposition want to become PM but no one wants to fight. He said that the govt will have to make new rules for MSP so that the farmer can get a fair price because the farmers are being exploited. Tikait, who was in Bikaner on Monday, told reporters that Bajra, Groundnut, and Mustard should be procured at MSP. He said that the trader first buys the crop and holds it, then sells it at a higher price. Tikait said that small shopkeepers are also in danger, they too have to fight their battle.
