Teen preparing for NEET murdered by Insta friend

Kota: An online friendship which initially began on Instagram, took a deadly turn when a 17-year-old girl student preparing for the NEET exam in Kota, was murdered by her friend from Gujarat.

Kota SP Kesar Singh informed that deceased & accused became friends on Instagram nearly 6 months ago. He added that the accused Kishan Thakor arrested & brought to kota.

The accused arrived in Kota two days before girl disappeared. The girl’s hostel was in New Rajiv Gandhi Colony, while the boy was staying at a nearby hotel in Jawahar Nagar. On June 5, the girl went to meet the boy at a hotel. Girl went missing on June 6 after she left for coaching that day,” said Kota SP Kesar Singh.

“Girl, who belonged to Chhattisgarh, had come to Kota for medical exam prep. She was hit by a stone,” said Deputy SP Ankit Jain.
