Shekhawat targets Raj govt, says Gehlot has failed on water and power fronts

Ajmer: Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat attacked the state government on the issue of water and electricity. Shekhawat, who came to the virtual inauguration ceremony of the Ajmer BJP office, said that whenever the Congress government takes charge, the power crisis in the state deepens.

On the crisis of drinking water, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that there is always a water crisis in the state during the summers, due to which PM Narendra Modi started the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme. Shekhawat accused the state government of not implementing the scheme properly and said that in the last four years, the state has been allocated the highest budget of Rs 27,000 crores in the country.
