RURAL SPORTS TALENT COMING TO FORE AT RURAL OLYMPIC GAMES: CM
Bhilwara: CM Ashok Gehlot while overseeing the competitions organised under the Rajiv Gandhi Rural Olympic Games at Bigod village of Mandalgarh block of Bhilwara district and Nimbahera in Chittorgarh districts, said that Rajiv Gandhi Rural Olympics is a great initiative to bring forward the sports talent of rural areas in the state. “People of all age groups, sects and political backgrounds are participating in rural Olympics and along with sports, an atmosphere of mutual brotherhood is also being created in society. About 30 lakh players participated in Rural Olympics. It also included 10 lakh women players,” the CM said. “There is a need to give players an opportunity & to hone their talents by giving them high level training. PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasra, Food & Civil Supplies Minister Pratap S Khachariyawas & Sports minister Ashok Chandna also addressed the event.
