Rs 10K to woman family head, LPG at Rs 500 to 1.04 cr families
Jhunjhunu: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra lashed out at Central govt on Wednesday over its “hollow” welfare schemes at a rally in Jhunjhunu where her party promised an annual honorarium of Rs 10,000 to the women heads of families in Rajasthan.
At the rally, CM Ashok Gehlot promised two “guarantees” if Congress is re-elected in the state - cooking gas cylinders for Rs 500 to 1.04 crore families and an annual honorarium of Rs 10,000 to the woman head of a family Griha Lakshmi Guarantee Scheme. The name of the scheme will be Swabhiman Yojana, he said.
The rally, organised at Ardawata village in Jhunjhunu, was the second rally of Gandhi in poll-bound Rajasthan in a week.
