Rajasthan Bypolls: BJP's Shanta Amrit Lal Meena wins Salumbar
Jaipur: BJP candidate Shanta Amrit Lal Meena won assembly bypolls on Salumbar seat in Rajasthan with a narrow margin of 1,285 votes.
She secured 84,428 votes and defeated her nearest rival and BAP candidate Jitesh Kumar Katara, who got 83,143 votes.
Congress candidate Reshma Meena stood third with 26,760 votes.
The seat fell vacant after BJP MLA Amrit Lal Meena died.
Shanta Meena is Amrit Lal's widow.
