Rajasthan: 2 Minors complain of uneasiness, doc finds them to be pregnant; rape case filed

Banswara/Dungarpur: In two similar cases of Banswara and Dungarpur districts of Rajasthan, two minor girls gave birth on Sunday. In this case, the police registered a case of alleged rape with the minor.

Police said that a 15-year-old minor gave birth to a baby in Banswara, while in Dungarpur, a 15-year-old minor gave birth to a baby girl who died after birth.

Banswara Sadar SHO Tej Singh said that a case has been registered against a local person after the birth of a minor girl child on Sunday. He said that the girl was admitted to the district hospital after she complained of abdominal pain. During the investigation it was found that she is pregnant.

Dowda police station officer Kamlesh Chaudhary of Dungarpur told that the girl, 15-year-old minor gave birth to, could not survive. A case of rape has been registered against the unknown accused on behalf of the minor's father. He told that the minor has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
