Officials fail to solve water crisis in Nagaur district

Nagaur: The drinking water crisis continues to deepen in the Nagaur district while the officers are only giving assurances.

The areas of Nagaur most impacted by the water scarcity, include Godaro ki Dhani, Vishnoi ki Dhani, Kadvasar ki Dhani, Ajabpura and Junigoth Nayak ki Dhani of Chhapra of the Jayal subdivision.

Although Rs 4100 crores were spent on the Nagaur lift project, the problem still persists.

Now Rs 1857 crore will be spent in Jal Jeevan Mission with the allocation of tap connections in 954 villages and 3924 dhanis.
