‘No prob if leaders not going against party’

Pathankot: Reacting to Sachin Pilot’s Kisan Sammelan in Rajasthan, Congress in charge for Rajasthan Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on Thursday said what is the problem is any Congress leader is holding such programmes to strengthen the party.

“The only condition is that there should be nothing against the party,” Randhwa said.
“We cannot say to anyone that you cannot hold a meeting. I have not even seen the video of Kisan Sammelan. If there is any issue, I will definitely watch that video,” he said.

He said that it is necessary to maintain discipline in the party.
Randhawa said that he has asked Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi that quota system in ticket distribution should be completely abolished.

He said that in the assembly elections, tickets will be distributed on the basis of survey.
No matter how big a leader someone is, ticket will not be given if there is no name in the survey,” he said.

The senior Congress leader said that everything will be resolved between Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot.
“Congress has given a lot to both Pilot and Gehlot. I will sit and talk with both Pilot and Gehlot about what they want,” he said.

Randhawa said that there is a need to take necessary steps for publicity of government’s schemes. On Rahul’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab, Randhawa said Punjab is a border state and very cold now, but despite this unexpected crowd has gathered in Yatra.

On Manpreet Badal joining BJP, Randhawa said- “I never considered Manpreet Badal as a Congressman. He finished the Congress in Bathinda. I didn’t feel sad when he left Congress, I was happy.”
