Newborn girl child found dumped in bushes in Churu

Churu: A newborn girl child was found in bushes in Sardarshahr of Churu district on Saturday morning. The infant’s body was covered in blood as ants had bit her. Hearing her crying, people nearby came to her rescue and took her to the hospital.

Child specialist Dr Chandrabhan Jangid said that the infant was born barely 12 hours ago. “She was badly injured. She weighed 2 kg and 100 grams. Nothing can be said about her condition now and the treatment has started,” he said.

Omprakash Jat and Rajusinh, residents of Poonusar village, said that they were going to the farm in the morning when they heard an infant crying. When they looked into the bushes, they found the infant with ants around. He said that the infant was fed milk and admitted to the CHC.
