Min Dhariwal hands over allotment letters to 199 families under Punarvas Yojana in Kota

Kota: The New Year has brought a new dawn for the people of Udiya Basti and Valmiki Basti, the raw settlements of Railway Colony area of Kota.

On the initiative of UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal, not only the people of this colony got freedom from the stigma of encroachers but also from the filth. Instead of a colony of hellish life, the way to own a house with all basic facilities including road-waterelectricity was also paved and all this was possible under the Garib Basti Punarvas Yojana. Dhariwal handed over the allotment letters of the allotted plots to 199 families while completely rehabilitating these two settlements situated on the railway land.

Earlier, Dhariwal also inaugurated the statue of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar in Railway Colony area and also inaugurated the BhadanaNorthern Bypass Road, completed at a cost of about Rs 8 crore.
