Man dies by suicide as wife’s rapist blackmails

Barmer: A man had ended his life after the accused who had allegedly raped his wife, blackmailed him. Incident has been reported from Balotra. Police had arrested the accused who is now on two days police remand.

According to police a woman had lodged a complaint alleging that on Dec 16, accused Gaffar Khan forcibly raped her and clicked her obscene photos. The accused had also threatened her husband, who hanged self on Dec 20.

Police said that on the basis of the complaint they nabbed the accused on Saturday and produced before the court.
