Karauli murder: Kirodi courts arrest; Govt agrees for job & Rs 5 L to family

Karauli: BJP MP Kirodi Lal Meena and his supporters courted arrest in protest against murder of a girl in Karauli’s Mandrayal town.

Kirodi along with his supporters was going to dharna site when the Karauli police stopped him. His supporters raised slogans against the police. Meanwhile, Meena went to PWD premises where police officers talked to him.

After nearly two hours of talk, Meena and his supporters courted arrest. They were taken and released by the police outside the boundary of district.

Karauli MP Manoj Rajoria said that the administration has accepted the demand for arrest of the accused within three days, contractual job for one family member of the victim, and compensation of Rs 5 lakh.

Girl’s body was recovered yesterday morning in Mandrayal fort.
